Old Light vs New Light: Veteran Players Gearing up For The Witch Queen

Destiny is an ever-evolving game with new seasons, updates, and a non-stop narrative that is at the time of this article, 8 years in the making. Bungie has made Destiny into a game that will welcome new players and veteran players alike at any given time. This is what makes this franchise special, the simple act of letting anyone at any time jump into the story and ready to join the fight against the Darkness is amazing.

With the next major expansion, The Witch Queen on the horizon, I had the distinct pleasure of speaking to a veteran Destiny player from the clan RKO, Abel Rodriguez. Able has taken a 2-year hiatus and has jumped back into the fray in preparation for The Witch Queen. He was asked a series of questions on the state of the game, and how new players and returning players such as himself feel about getting ready for The Witch Queen.  

When speaking to other members of the RKO clan, I spoke to another veteran player who was also coming back from taking an extended break from Destiny, Animefreak112. "Being able to get back on after all this time feels great! Its been so long and the fact that there is a plethora of gear, weapons and abilities to grind for and obtain blows my mind! Being able to hear the excitement, the challenges and the willingness to jump back into Destiny after so long and having that joy that feels like playing the game for the first time is awe-inspiring. We all look forward to knowing how they progress and prepare for The Witch Queen and beyond.
